Dirty screens can cause eye strain and fatigue, so should be cleaned regularly to prevent Operator discomfort. Keyboards can clog and cause problems.

1. Look at the keyboard if particularly dirty, use the Pressurised Air Duster, spray keyboard and back grid to remove dust. The keyboard can also be brushed with the Keyboard Brush. Using a General Purpose Cloth and Keyboard Brush, clean between and along keys. NB. all cleaning agents are applied to cloths or brushes not directly onto keyboards.
1. Spray a small amount of Anti-Static Cleaner onto a General Purpose Cloth and wipe clean case.

1. Check which type of screen is incorporated onto your VDU (visual display unit). If Nylon/Silk, Anti-glare Filter (these have a mesh appearance), spray a small amount of Screen Cleaner onto a General Purpose Cloth and, using horizontal and vertical strokes gently wipe screen filter. If no screen filter is present, spray a small amount of screen cleaner onto a clean General Purpose Cloth and apply to screen. Repeat if necessary.
Cleaning is necessary to maintain good quality printing and ensure machine performance.

1. Using a Pressurised Air Duster - spray all intricate and dusty areas.
2. Remove paper trays, remove debris, clean and dust tray and refit.
3. Spray General Purpose Cleaner onto a General Purpose Cloth and clean casings.
4. If there are acoustic hoods fitted, spray Screen Cleaner onto General Purpose Cloth and clean hoods.

No matter what kind of telephone you encounter, the basic principles will apply.
1. Spray a small amount of General Purpose Cleaner (anti-static) onto a General Purpose Cloth. Clean handset and telephone casing ensuring all dirt is removed.
2. Spray Telephone/Air Freshener onto a clean General Purpose Cloth and apply to handset. Pay special attention to the little holes and grooves on the ear and mouth piece. The sanitising agent will kill most germs that can cause headaches, sore throats, etc.
Clean at least once per week, but definitely once a month.
Static can cause photocopier paper to stick together in the paper feed tray, which creates a misfeed producing paper clog in the machine. The glass pattern (where applicable) can get grimy from correction fluids and ink deposits, therefore producing spotting on copies.
Regular cleaning will ensure clean copies and prevent paper jamming.

1. Brush away dust from feed trays etc. with the Keyboard Cleaning Brush
2. Spray General Purpose Cleaner (anti-static) onto lint free cloth and clean casings and paper feed tray. The cleaner contains an Anti-Static agent that will minimise the build-up of dust attracted by static, and reduce paper misfeeds.
3. Using Anti-Static Screen cleaner spray onto lint free cloth and apply to glass pattern. Everyday dirt, grease and grime will be removed leaving a clean static free pattern.
